Job summary

Permobil is seeking an Associate Assembler 1 in Belleville, IL to assemble and ensure quality products within the assembly department. This role features high daily variance and requires adaptability; training is provided within 30 days of hire.

The position is full-time on the 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6:00am-4:30pm) with a pay range of $17.00–$17.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one.

Your Role in Our Mission

• Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to assemble and ensure quality products are produced in the assembly department. This is a position with high variance in daily work and requires a high level of adaptability. This position will be trained on position within the assigned department within 30 days of hire.

• Essential job result 3: Identify non-conforming parts and fill out tags and place any non-conforming parts in the red bins for quality evaluation.

What You’ll Bring

• Associate must be skill checked on 1 position within the assigned department within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to speak, read, and write clearly.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to use common sense to solve problems.
• Computer Operations: Very slight amount required with basic computer operation skills.
• Planning/Organization: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good hand-eye coordination; ability to work under pressure quickly and accurately; ability to work primarily as a single unit but in cooperation with the team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $17.00 – $17.50 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
