Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an assembler to build and assemble heavy-duty electric trucks at our Kansas City, KS site. You will follow detailed work instructions, use engineering drawings, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You will lift up to 75 lbs, collaborate with teammates, and complete training on the 1st shift. This contract role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits upon eligibility.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will help build and assemble heavy-duty electric trucks while following quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and tear down heavy-duty electric trucks following work instructions.
• Use engineering drawings and instructions to complete assembly tasks.
• Inspect your work and identify and correct any defects.
• Follow all quality and safety procedures.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in automotive, electrical assembly, or manufacturing environments such as semi-trucks, heavy equipment, farm equipment, or terminal trucks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Team player with initiative, leadership qualities, and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures.
• Must be able to complete training on 1st shift, regardless of the shift assigned afterward.

Shift & pay

• 1st shift (6:00am-4:30pm-Monday-Saturday)
• $22/hr

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
