Job summary

Weil-McLain is seeking an assembler to join our manufacturing floor. You will assemble parts at floor stations following standardized work instructions and use hand and power tools to build units to product specifications.

You must be able to identify discrepancies, stop the line for safety or quality, and maintain a clean area per 5S principles. The role requires basic reading of instructions, adherence to SOPs, and a strong attendance record.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0–3 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Identify differences in standardized work instructions and stop the line if needed.
  • Must qualify on at least one upstream and downstream task.
  • Must be able to use air/battery operated tools.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and maintain excellent attendance.

This is a position with WM Technologies, LLC and affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC, which manufactures and sells Weil-McLain branded products. Weil-McLain is a leading North American brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings since 1881.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.
  • Assemble parts in accordance with standardized work instructions.
  • Stop the line due to Safety or Quality.
  • Qualify on at least one task and the upstream and downstream tasks.
  • Maintain area cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
The most qualified candidates will demonstrate the following:
  • May required a High School Diploma or GED
  • May require 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Must be able to identify differences in standardized work instructions and inconsistencies in parts and be willing to stop the line.
  • Must qualify on at least one task and the upstream and downstream tasks.
  • Must be able to use air/battery operated Tools.
  • Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Must have excellent attendance record.
