Job summary

Zep Inc. is seeking a manufacturing assembler in Cartersville, GA to precisely assemble units, align parts, and repair items to meet quality standards. You will follow safety rules, organize the workspace, and assist with inventory control while working an eight-hour shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and to prioritize workload.
• Works an 8 hour work schedule, with overtime as needed.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Precisely assemble units or parts using hand tools and light power tools and equipment, completing work in a timely manner.
• Fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet product operating requirements.
• Repair units, structures and products that fail to meet requirements and standards.
• Perform testing of assembled units and implement QA and QC standards.
• Observe all safety rules and practices.
• Organize work area and maintain its cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested.
