Job summary

Geor gia-based Zep Inc. is seeking a production assembler to precisely assemble units and components using hand tools and light power tools. You will fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet operating requirements while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting 50–75 lbs, and maintaining an organized workspace. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to stand for several hours and lift 50–75 lbs.

Job Description:

Primary Duties:

• Precisely assemble units or parts using hand tools and light power tools and equipment, completing work in a timely manner.
• Fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet product operating requirements.
• Repair units, structures and products that fail to meet requirements and standards.
• Perform testing of assembled units and implement QA and QC standards.
• Observe all safety rules and practices.
• Organize work area and maintain its cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic tool knowledge
• Ability to stand and work for several hours at a time
• Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and to prioritize workload.
• Works an 8 hour work schedule, with overtime as needed.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desired but not required
