Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in technical school in a related field.
• 6 months or more related experience.
• Proficient in MIG welding on steel and aluminum as demonstrated by an on-site weld skills test.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret job cards.
• Experience using small and pneumatic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble various components for welding.
• Set up machine for welding.
• Weld aluminum components (bench, MIG, TIG).
• Weld steel components (bench, MIG, TIG).
• Grind welds and maintain a clean, safe work area.
