Job summary

Inframark in Florida is seeking a Wastewater Operator in Training to learn operating pumps, valves and related equipment at water and wastewater facilities.

You will perform routine testing, document plant performance, and be available for after-hours calls; a High School Diploma or GED is required and the company supports obtaining a Water/Wastewater Operator’s License within one year, with CDL preferred and willingness to work weekends/on-call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator’s License within one year.
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operates pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Performs routine testing and basic lab analyses.
• Documents plant performance and chemical usage.
• Responds to call outs and emergencies after hours.
• Keeps facilities clean, neat, and secure.
• Provides customer service when needed.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends and on-call.
