Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Wastewater Operator in Training to learn operating machinery, pumps and related equipment within water and wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities include routine testing, maintenance, and documenting plant performance. You may respond to after-hours emergencies and provide customer service as needed, with a requirement to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred).
• Ability to obtain Water/Wastewater Operator's License within one year.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of equipment including valves, pumps, motors and related machinery.
• Conducts routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of water/wastewater processes and basic laboratory analyses.
• Documents plant performance including daily flow, chemical usage and dosage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintains cleanliness and security of facilities.
• Provides customer service functions when necessary.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings and on-call.
