Job summary

SavATree seeks a Tree Climber in Training to join the General Tree Care Team. You will work outdoors on client properties, performing climbing, pruning, and related tasks with emphasis on safety and quality.

As part of the training program, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn proper pruning techniques, and develop skills in identifying native and introduced species while adhering to company standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Motivated to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn: tree climbing, pruning techniques, species identification, safety standards, and chainsaw operation.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a crew to provide high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
• Safely operating climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment.
• Applying proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
• Following safety procedures at all times.
• Delivering excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards.
