Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber in Training for our General Tree Care Team. You will be outdoors, visiting properties, and performing climbing and pruning duties using safe techniques.

You will work with a crew to provide high-quality tree care, including removals and cable bracing, while emphasizing safety, teamwork, and customer service. The role offers training and growth within arboriculture.

Qualifications

• Desire to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn tree climbing, pruning techniques, species identification, safety standards, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a crew to provide high-quality tree care including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
• Safely operate climbing gear, chainsaws and other equipment.
• Apply proper pruning techniques and tree care practices while following safety procedures.
• Deliver excellent service to clients and maintain professional standards.
