Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, staffing, and inventory tasks. You will assist in merchandising, cash handling, and maintaining store standards to deliver excellent customer service and store performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret store policies and procedures.
• Strong math skills for sales reporting and inventory counts.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including deposits and audits.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting features.
• Understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Knowledge of cash, cashier accountability, and store security procedures.
• Ability to recruit, hire, and train staff in line with company policy.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced retail environment.
