Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory practices.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train and supervise staff while adhering to policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and staging, pricing and display.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and controls.
• Follow prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Operate store in store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements and identify trends, opportunities and shrink.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation on time.
