The candidate will participate in recruiting, lead aspects of customer service, and help maintain store standards, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents and safety rules.
• Strong math skills for calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and report generation.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Understanding of cash, facility and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and ensure pricing and signage accuracy.
• Help manage inventory, damages, markdowns, and cycle counts; prepare inventories.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and model company policies.
• Participate in store opening/closing and cash handling procedures.
• Help maintain store cleanliness and safety; ensure proper store conditions.
• Assist in maintaining financial integrity and key controls.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
