Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to prepare you to run your own store through hands-on leadership. You'll learn to manage operations, develop teams, and drive results while working side-by-side with associates in a fast-paced environment.

This role combines leadership responsibilities with active participation in daily store operations, including stocking, merchandising, customer service, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lead store personnel and develop teams.
• Prior management experience in retail preferred.
• Willingness to travel within divisional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports; leads store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans using company resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including promotions and terminations as appropriate.
• Communicates, cooperates, and interacts with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners.
• Plans and conducts meetings such as store team meetings and training sessions.
• Ensures compliance with store policies and federal/state/local regulations.
