Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher in California to support K-12 students with diverse needs in in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will collaborate with school teams and families to address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps. Responsibilities include developing individualized lesson plans, implementing PBIS, maintaining IEPs and BIPs, and monitoring student growth while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to ensure safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students within the school.
