Job summary

ANCHOR POINT MANAGEMENT GROUP, based in McKenzie, TN, seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead a Taco Bell unit. This position provides leadership, direct supervision, and ensures a profitable operation with high cleanliness, hospitality, product quality, and speed of service.

The RGM trains staff, hires and evaluates crew and management, maintains safety/compliance, and drives guest satisfaction. 18+ and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong preference for internal promote from AGM with required training and certifications.
• High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months in a supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizing, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent decision making and conflict resolution skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to handle rapid change.
• Desire to develop their team and continue their own development.
• Ability to manage time effectively and achieve objectives within timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Controls cost categories (food, labor, cash, and controllable expenses) to guidelines and budgets.
• Aims for positive sales growth by improving 5 Bells, CORE, speed of service and food quality.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels for all days/parts and meet scheduling requirements.
• Prepare and conduct performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and ASM.
• Hire crew, shift leaders, and assistant general managers.
• Coach and counsel all crew and managers to achieve certification and performance levels.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization per sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Verify a safe environment for employees and guests, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and report repairs to maintenance.
• Provide timely feedback to area coach on operating results via daily calls and weekly area meetings; manage turnover with effective selection/training.
• Prepare food as needed for guests/training and handle cash register and money when required.
