Job summary

Great Place Construction (GPC) in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator in Training to join our team and learn under an experienced construction manager. The role focuses on planning, budgeting, and coordinating with designers and field teams to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will develop take-offs, cost estimates, and participate in subcontract administration, with opportunities for advancement from within as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or progress toward degree is a plus.
• General knowledge of commercial construction principles/practices.
• Strong math skills and ability to estimate costs.
• Desire to learn and advance within the company.

Responsibilities

• Developmental position for project manager and/or estimator.
• Plan review/coordination with designers and project manager.
• Submittal review/coordination with teams.
• Schedule creation/management.
• Develop preliminary budgets and take-offs.
• Subcontract administration and cost tracking.
• Job cost management and onsite coordination.
