Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a motivated Product Development engineering intern/co-op to join our team in Austin.

You will support characterization and build production test programs, performing parametric and data analyses to drive process improvements. You will learn and apply engineering methods for yield, coverage, and ramp readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams on next-generation AMD microprocessors.

Qualifications

• US-based university student pursuing an undergraduate degree in CS, CE, or EE.
• Strong coding skills across C++, Python optional, and scripting languages.
• Interest in hardware/software integration and debugging is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Development Engineers with characterization tasks.
• Help build production test programs and run parametric analyses.
• Support engineering studies to improve yield and ramp readiness.
• Document technical work and debug test programs for next-gen AMD processors.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues.
