Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Apprentice Optician to learn eyewear fitting and customer service, becoming an expert on our glasses. You will work with a mentor to take measurements, ensure accuracy, and explain prescription details to customers.

You will collaborate with the team to suggest best practices in sales and service while delivering friendly, knowledgeable support that reflects our brand values.

Qualifications

• Interest in a medical-oriented role to help people see.
• Passionate about working with people.
• Hands-on problem solver eager to learn new technical skills.
• Clear, effective communicator.
• Detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Not on the LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Learn to take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Help customers choose the best frames and lenses based on needs and style.
• Collaborate with teammates to share best practices for sales and service.
