Job summary

Buckeye Partners is looking for an Apprentice Field Operator to join our team in Flint, Michigan. In this role, you will learn truck terminal operations, inventory control, and pipeline maintenance. Your responsibilities will include assisting with inspections and maintaining documentation, all while adhering to our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a high school diploma; an associate’s degree is preferred. This position involves hands-on training and up to 25% travel. We value communication skills and a commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in truck rack terminal operations, pipeline operations, or pipeline maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of equipment and maintenance of pumps and meters.
• Familiarity with computerized inventory control systems and truck rack automation systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with truck terminal operations and inventory control.
• Perform inspections and basic maintenance on pipeline facilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulations.
