Job summary

The D Las Vegas is seeking an Apprentice Bartender/Barback to support the Prohibition Bar’s beverage service. You will assist bartenders, restock with garnishes and supplies, and help ensure guests receive timely service in a fast-paced resort environment.

As an entry-level team member, you’ll learn bar operations, inventory, opening tabs, and maintaining compliant alcohol service. The role requires strong English communication and multitasking in a gaming setting.

Qualifications

• Must read and speak English and communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management.
• Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold Company Service Standards at all times.
• Open/close duties: restock bar with garnishes, straws, napkins, towels; ensure ice, liquor, wine, beer stocked.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
• Take orders, prepare drinks, buss tables, open tabs and process payments during peak hours.
• Accurately ring up all orders in the POS while socializing with guests.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service standards and manage intoxicated guests when necessary.
• Maintain records and report usage levels to assist reordering and proper storage.
