Job summary

The D Las Vegas is seeking an Apprentice Bartender/Barback to support busy beverage service at the Long Bar. You will help stock, prep garnishes, assist bartenders, take orders when needed and keep the bar organized during service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are at least 21, and can communicate in English. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must read and speak English and communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management.
• High school diploma or GED required; ability to obtain work cards.
• Flexibility to work any day/shift, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Restock bar with garnishes, straws and napkins and keep stocked with ice, liquor, wine and beer.
• Assist bartenders, take orders, prepare drinks and process payments during peak hours.
• Ring up orders in POS and socialize with guests while serving.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service standards and manage intoxicated guests if needed.
• Maintain records and report usage for reordering and storage.
