Price Rite is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager in Woonsocket, RI to oversee daily operations in the Produce department and support the Store Manager. The role emphasizes sales growth, asset protection and excellent customer service.

You will learn cross-department responsibilities, participate in training programs, and contribute to a positive work environment with meaningful perks and a focus on team safety and presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate with customers.
• Strong math skills for discounts, percentages and pricing.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to stand, lift and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 10–15 subordinates; train, direct and evaluate staff.
• Maintain store conditions per company standards to improve profitability.
• Maximize department sales and profits and ensure product presentation.
• Develop team morale and effective communications.
• Meet productivity and payroll goals in department.
• Ensure customer service levels and adhere to sanitation standards.
• Open/close the store as required and manage inventory and ordering.
