Martin Marietta in Golden, CO is seeking an Asphalt Weighmaster to accurately weigh, ticket, and document loads entering and exiting the plant. You will serve as the primary contact for drivers and customers and ensure DOT compliance.

This role blends technical scale software proficiency with strong administrative skills and a safety-first mindset in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will coordinate with dispatch, plant Foremen, and operators to maintain smooth loading operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• Experience in Asphalt or Construction environments preferred.
• Familiarity with scale operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated truck scales and software to capture tare and gross weights.
• Enter customer data, product codes, and haulage information into the ticketing system.
• Ensure outbound trucks comply with state DOT/weight limits; prevent overloads.
• Coordinate with plant operators to ensure correct mix and tonnage per order.
• Direct truck traffic and maintain safe, smooth yard flow.
• Serve as central hub between scale house, Foremen, Loaders, and Dispatch via CB radio/phone.
• Report loading discrepancies and communicate with drivers and customers.
• Respond to inquiries on product availability, pricing, and scheduling; process payments.
• Document ticket discrepancies for management review.
• Administer site safety training for visitors and drivers.
