Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt spreader equipment to lay uniform asphalt mats to required project depth and slope.
• Control screed heating elements, augers, and automatic grade controls for surface smoothness.
• Inspect incoming asphalt material temperatures to verify mix specifications before spreading.
• Guide roller operators and ground crews to achieve maximum compaction and seamless joints.
• Maintain heavy equipment daily through cleaning, lubrication, and safety checks.
• Collaborate with project superintendents to maintain steady production and minimize downtime.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (Occasional weekends required)

Operating heavy paving machinery, you will ensure precise depth, mat consistency, and joint integrity on major municipal builds. How You Will Make An Impact

• Operate asphalt spreader equipment to lay uniform asphalt mats to required project depth and slope.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Reliable personal transportation to travel directly to job sites throughout Queens and Brooklyn.
