Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3+ years of paving/related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute paving procedures as instructed to meet project standards.
• Ensure safety and traffic precautions are followed.
• Prepare road surfaces for hot asphalt.
• Distribute and rake asphalt material on surfaces.
• Finish surfaces by smoothing and tamping to proper grade and thickness.
• Repair utility cuts with permanent hot asphalt material.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate a safety-first attitude and comply with safety requirements.

Education
