Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industry-related paving experience.
• Ability to understand work directions and communicate with job site supervisors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute paving procedures to meet project standards.
• Be responsible for the finished product with safety and traffic precautions.
• Prepare road surfaces for hot asphalt material.
• Distribute and rake asphalt material used in construction and resurfacing.
• Finish surfaces by smoothing and tamping asphalt to proper grade and thickness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safety-first attitude and professional conduct at all times.
