APAC-Kansas, Inc. in Hutchinson, KS is hiring a Quality Control Asphalt Technician to perform inspections and testing of aggregates and asphalt to ensure premium quality and contract compliance. This role supports our team in a dynamic construction environment and requires strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and 'Fit for Work'.
• Strong visual acuity with correction; valid driver's license.
• Professionalism and courteous attitude at all times.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, overtime outdoors.
• Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Age 18+ and ability to provide I-9 documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-workers and managers in a dynamic team setting.
• Champion safety and follow OSHA and MSHA policies.
• Conduct inspections, sampling, and testing of aggregates and asphalt.
• Test mixtures for contract specs and QC tolerances.
• Monitor daily processes and record data in the test results database.
• Assist customers with professionalism and efficiency.
• Support quality control plans and keep work areas organized.
