Job summary

Pittman Construction Company, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Technician to test and inspect Hot Mix Asphalt materials used in pavement projects. You will inspect plant production, test materials in the laboratory, and review designs to ensure conformity with plans and specifications.

The role requires accurate data recording, reporting, and coordination with plant personnel, site teams, and customers. Night/shift flexibility and readiness to travel to project sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient sampling and visual inspection per standard test methods to ensure QC of products at production, shipping and site arrival.
• Accurate documentation and communication of test results to plant operator, supervisor and operations.
• Review mix designs and product to job specifications for upcoming projects.
• Prepare QC reports and provide recommendations to resolve quality issues.
