Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5+ years of industry experience, emphasis on asphalt plant operations.
• Ability to read and understand repair manuals.
• English fluency in speaking, reading and writing.
• Not an entry-level role; requires demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties with Solterra's Core Values at the forefront.
• Operate asphalt plant equipment and understand electrical operation.
• Read and comprehend repair manuals; analyze malfunctions and repairs.
• Dismantle/reassemble plant equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Weld broken parts and structural members; inspect for wear.
• Safely run and test equipment; direct team members as needed.
• Comply with safety policies and maintain hazard awareness.
