Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc. is hiring a maintenance technician to inspect, adjust, lubricate, repair, and operate equipment across plant operations.

The role requires welding/steel fitting skills, electrical and plumbing coordination, and the ability to work in varying conditions. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, prior maintenance experience preferred, and be prepared for physical duties, safety training, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
• Willing to work in a team environment and assist others as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Works with plumbing and other plant functions.
• Skilled in welding and steel fitting.
• Operates heavy equipment as needed.
