Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a motivated individual to join a crew at an Asphalt Production Facility for a leading heavy civil construction company in the Mid-Atlantic. The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer knowledge, strong safety focus, and the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating automated plant systems, coordinating with quality control, and maintaining optimal plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic mechanical skills and basic knowledge of computers are required.
• Experience with mobile or stationary equipment and in manufacturing or construction is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt plant using automated drum and batch systems and control boards.
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure specs and adjust mix formulas.
• Monitor plant status, load material onto trucks, and dispatch trucks.
• Communicate with paving crews and project teams to optimize production and maintain quality.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality and service.
• Maintain safe working environment and participate in safety discussions.
• Plan next day production and adjust current day schedule.
• Perform documentation and planning for maintenance and repairs.
• Assist as equipment operator and conduct pre-shift inspections.
