Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate with strong math skills and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Minimum 3 years experience as Asphalt Plant Operator.
• Experience with Astec double barrel components and gencor controls a plus.
• Computer literate, experience with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt plant controls and monitor heat/flow.
• Weigh and deliver aggregates and asphalt cement to dryer and mixer.
• Maintain proper heat in dryer and material flow.
• Assist in maintenance and prepare production reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
