Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator at our Old Bridge plant to safely run daily asphalt operations in our East Region. The role includes routine maintenance to ensure continuous production and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities involve plant operation, pre-shift inspections, and collaboration with the team to maintain equipment performance in varied outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience preferred.
• Prompt, regular attendance.
• Positive, team-based attitude.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet.
• Ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
• Basic computer, working with hands, welding.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
• Day to day operations of manufacturing asphalt.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
