Job summary

WalbecGroup is seeking an Experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to work in our asphalt manufacturing plants. Under the Foreman, you will operate, maintain, and repair equipment to produce high-quality asphalt mix for paving operations.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, monitoring material flow, loading trucks, and assisting with equipment maintenance. Regular hours with potential for varied shifts; union environment with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and dependable attendance required.
• Union membership may be required; HR can assist.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair asphalt plant equipment under Foreman guidance.
• Monitor material flow to produce in-spec hot mix asphalt.
• Load out trucks using computerized operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
• Assist with basic fabrication and equipment maintenance.
