Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To The Following

• Operate and maintain asphalt plant in a safe and efficient manner.
• Manage schedules/hours and daily duties for all plant personnel.
• Communicate with internal and external customers regarding daily orders and needs.
• Track inventories of incoming and outgoing products.
• Participate in quality control and safety programs.
• Operate equipment, perform asphalt plant maintenance, and other duties as directed by supervisor.

This position may include nights, weekends, and travel between plants as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in asphalt plant operation.
• Ability to monitor multiple plant systems for quality and profitability.
• Ability to work in high and confined spaces.
• Good math skills, and strong planning, organization, communication, and observation skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications, manuals, and instructions; maintain logs.
• Mechanical skills including welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate loaders is helpful.
• Must pass background checks, physical/functional exams, and drug screening.
• Professional and courteous attitude towards team members and customers.
