The Position

We seek an Experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to operate and maintain asphalt manufacturing plants. Under the supervision of the Foreman, you'll help produce asphalt mix, learn to operate various construction equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

• Adhere to all safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Monitor equipment for consistent high-quality asphalt production.
• Load trucks using computerized systems.
• Be willing to learn new tasks and work as part of a team.
• Feed aggregate materials into the plant.
• Replace wear components and perform fabrication as needed.
• Work on elevated platforms and in confined spaces.
• Monitor material gradations and moisture contents.
• Ensure asphalt quality through testing and monitoring.
• Operate equipment such as welders, torches, pneumatic tools, loaders, lifts, and trucks.

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Punctuality and dependability.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions and dusty environments.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights over 50 feet.
• Mechanical, fabrication, and repair skills are a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass aptitude tests.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
