Job Description: Asphalt Plant Operator at Arcosa Inc.

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator based in Newark, NJ, to oversee the manufacturing of asphalt and manage credit risk assessment and collection activities for key accounts in the East Region.

Responsibilities

1. Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
2. Manage day-to-day operations of the asphalt manufacturing process.
3. Ensure compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and government regulations.
4. Perform daily equipment and workplace inspections to maintain optimal performance.
5. Maintain effective communication with plant staff and operators.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, and climb stairs or ladders up to 60 feet.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills, manual dexterity, and welding experience.

Working Conditions
