Position Overview

Gregory Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Batch Plant Operator to operate our mobile batch plant at various sites, ensuring precise concrete mixing to meet specifications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and prioritize safety and quality control. You will ensure timely, high-quality concrete deliveries tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Batch Plant Operation: Operate the concrete batch plant, mix materials accurately, monitor equipment, and ensure quality control.
• On-Site Setup & Maintenance: Transport, set up, and maintain equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and keep work areas clean.
• Quality Control & Documentation: Conduct tests, record production data, and communicate issues to management.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety policies, environmental regulations, and report hazards or malfunctions.
• Customer Coordination & Delivery: Coordinate with dispatch and clients to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
• Inventory Management: Monitor raw materials and assist in organizing supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Work with team members, provide training, and foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in concrete batching or related field; experience with batch plants preferred.
• Skills: Mechanical troubleshooting, attention to detail, independent work capability, communication skills, basic computer skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather, standing and operating equipment for extended periods.
• Certifications: ACI, OSHA 10/30, CDL (if required).
