We are currently seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator for our Tinton Falls, NJ plant on Day/night shift.

What you will do:

1. Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
2. Day to day operations of manufacturing asphalt
3. Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
4. Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
5. Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
6. Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

What you will need:

1. Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
2. Positive, Team-based attitude
3. The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
4. The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
5. Basic computer skills, working with hands, welding

Working Conditions and Physical Environment: While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
