The Somerset County Sanitary District, Inc. is accepting applications for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency. Some mechanical or process monitoring experience is preferred. Candidates should be interested in learning about pumps, plumbing, and maintenance. Experience or licensing in wastewater or water treatment is a plus. A Maryland Class D license is required, and a copy of the license and MVA Driving Record must be submitted with the application.

All positions are Grade 6, with a starting salary of $44,312 - $72,611. A higher grade and salary are available for licensed and experienced candidates.
