Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Asphalt Plant Foreperson to oversee all aspects of asphalt manufacturing. The role emphasizes safety, production excellence, and leadership of cross-functional teams at our Oklahoma facility.

You will champion safety, manage budgets and scheduling, and coordinate with procurement and accounting to ensure timely delivery and profitability. Travel and off-hours work may be required to support operations and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plant operations and team leadership.
• Strong safety culture and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Ability to analyze production data and drive improvements.
• Willingness to travel and work nights or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead all asphalt manufacturing operations with a safe, productive environment.
• Champion proactive safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Ensure timely scheduling for internal and external customers.
• Oversee budgeting, planning, staffing, and maintenance activities.
• Manage production teams, optimize equipment usage, and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze operational and financial reports to maximize profitability.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and manage procurement within budget.
• Maintain accurate inventory and collaborate with accounting.
• Train and develop team members to foster growth and excellence.
• Ensure environmental compliance and required reporting.
• Coordinate with other business units to improve efficiency.
