Job summary

Standard Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service and repair plant equipment across our facilities in southwest Tennessee and northern Mississippi.

Responsibilities include inspection, lubrication, parts replacement, welding and steel fitting, and operation of heavy equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass background checks; willingness to travel and work nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment as needed.
