Job summary

CRH/APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to support plant operations in Mississippi. Responsibilities include inspection, adjustment of devices, lubrication, and repair of mechanical and electrical components.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior maintenance exposure. Willingness to work nights or weekends and travel may be required; safety training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Works with plumbing and other functions of the plants.
• Welding and steel fitting skills.
• Operates heavy equipment as needed.
• Job duties may be supplemented as required.
