Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and service plant equipment across sites. You will work with teams to keep operations safe and efficient, performing preventive maintenance and responding to issues as they arise.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, prior maintenance experience, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to travel, including nights and weekends. OSHA/MSHA safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and pass pre-employment checks.
• Must be willing to travel and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Works with plumbing and other functions of the plants.
• Skilled in welding and steel fitting
• Operates heavy equipment as needed.
