Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude to work with industrial machinery and plant equipment.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment and identify repairs.
• Welding and metal fabrication skills for on-site repairs.
• Ability to operate plant machinery and material-handling equipment safely.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Teamwork and clear communication with supervisors and peers.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and assist with emergency repairs on asphalt plant machinery.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage and potential issues.
• Repair, replace, and maintain conveyor belts, screens, pumps, wear parts, and other components.
• Investigate malfunctions and determine causes; coordinate with the team on solutions.
• Operate/testing of plant machinery and use forklifts, manlifts as needed.
• Maintain safety, documentation, cleanliness, and organized workspaces.
