Qualifications

• Previous asphalt/aggregate plant or industrial operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating computerized plant controls is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and production information.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality materials.
• Effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, and drivers.
• Dependable and safety-conscious, able to work independently.
• Willingness to work outdoors in extreme weather and around heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor asphalt plant equipment and control systems.
• Start, operate, adjust, and shut down plant equipment per procedures.
• Maintain asphalt mix quality, temperature, and consistency.
• Adjust material feed rates and components as needed.
• Keep accurate production records, load tickets, and plant documentation.
• Monitor gauges, meters, conveyors, burners, silos, and related equipment.
