Job summary

Martin Marietta in Denver, CO seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to keep asphalt production equipment running safely and efficiently. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair drum mixers, conveyors, and emission controls, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Welding and fabrication skills are used to repair plant structures and processing equipment. This role requires adherence to a 'Safety First' mindset, completion of maintenance logs, and coordination with the Plant

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in heavy equipment preferred.
• 1+ year experience in heavy-duty maintenance, preferably asphalt or similar.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions on plant equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Repair or replace worn components and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Operate lifting and support equipment to access machinery.
• Maintain logs, inventory reports, and safety paperwork.
• Ensure emissions control systems comply with environmental permits.
