Job summary

The Sunrock Group is seeking a Loader Operator in North Carolina to load vendor and Inter-Company trucks and manage stockpiles of aggregates for RMC and HMA plants.

You will operate a front-end loader, verify stock levels, perform daily pre-shift checks, and maintain material quality and plant readiness. High school diploma or GED and a NC driver's license required; 1–2 years related experience preferred.

• Basic math skills for handling weights, volumes, and dollars.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions.
• Multitasking while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and meets housekeeping requirements per Sunrock, MSHA, and OSHA standards.
• Operates front-end loader to lift and transport raw material onto vendor and Inter-Company haul trucks.
• Familiar with stockpiles and maintain materials in each.
• Verify and maintain storage of aggregate in stockpiles.
• Maintain daily loader cleanliness.
• Perform daily pre-shift checks on the loader and complete forms.
• Fuel and grease the loader daily.
• Receive and maintain recycled materials and stockpiles.
• Expeditiously loads trucks with aggregates as needed.
• Maintain stockpiles of virgin aggregates for RMC/HMA and coordinate with supervisors on inventories.
• Load production facilities with materials and prevent outages.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
