Job summary

Sunrock is seeking a Loader Operator in Durham, NC to load trucks with aggregates, manage stockpiles, and ensure clean, uncontaminated materials for asphalt and concrete plants. The role requires safe operation of a front-end loader, routine pre-shift checks, and coordination with supervisors on inventories to prevent plant outages.

Candidates should have a HS Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with a NC driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with dollars, weight, and measures.
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load vendor and inter-company trucks with aggregates per specifications.
• Maintain and monitor stockpiles ensuring proper mixing and no contamination of materials.
• Unload and load production facilities to avoid material outages during operations.
• Perform daily loader pre-shifts and complete required forms; fuel and grease loader daily.
• Support housekeeping and safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.
